Imagine this: it’s Monday morning, and Charlotte has her first piping-hot coffee of the day on the go. She opens her inbox... and there’s a friendly little nudge from the learning platform waiting for her.
It’s a reminder she still needs to complete two short alcohol sales courses. She’s been putting this off lately as her to-do list is pretty long but, the company relies on her being up-to-speed so they stay compliant. This is why these courses have both been marked as mandatory.
Charlotte’s realised this wasn’t simply a polite request and today is now a “get it done and dusted” day!
The best bit? That email has a big, shiny button that takes her straight to where she needs to go. No messing about. Just click, sign in, get it done.
And it’s not just Charlotte. Her manager, Matthew, got an email digest as well (spoiler: guess who else has been busy lately and hasn’t quite got round to it!).
Not only does Matthew get his own personal digest, he gets a neat summary of how his whole team’s doing.
It shows the percentage of mandatory courses each member of his team’s completed. This means he can step in, give them some friendly guidance (leading by example of course) and do his bit to help the business stay protected.

Your learning platform has been set up with the relevant courses marked as mandatory, and it will help you shine. You’ll know what’s important to get done quickly, your manager will know that you’re doing it, and your business will be glad of it too!

As a learner, you’ll get a weekly email digest showing that you have got mandatory learning to complete ASAP. Someone in the business has decided that, for good reason, these courses must be completed to protect the business - and they’re on your learning to-do list! When you’ve completed all of your mandatory courses, you’ll stop getting the email digests automatically.
Here's Charlotte’s email digest (one of these will go to all learners on the system as necessary).
Managers, you’ll get your own email digest and you’ll also get one for your team. Help them, guide them, and get your compliance levels to where the business needs them to be!
Platform admins, you just need to make sure that your most important courses are marked as mandatory. It’s quick and simple to do:
Search for your course in Courses, and pick Make Mandatory from the More dropdown:
Senior leaders, okay, so none of this applies to you right? Well, it might do, but if you’re absolutely sure, then log in to the learning platform and you can switch these digests on or off as you’d prefer.
