This tool allows you to look at the completion statistics of all your learners and fine-tune through the use of reporting filters. You can do things such as view the time they have spent learning, the average quiz attempts on a course, and download detailed exports of your data. This information could prove very useful for reports to a Board or higher management.
From the learning platform, select Reporting:
Pick Overview to quickly see your overall completion for your team(s):
Note that you can also get to your other reporting tools from the Reporting Tools menu to the right.
Select Overall Performance from the Reporting Tools menu:
Use Filters to show the different options for refining your data. This is especially useful when you’re looking into something specific and don’t want to wade through lots of detail! Example: filter by a specific course, or by a date range for a group of learners you want to know more about.
Select Apply filters to apply your change.
Toggle options underneath Performance breakdown to see different types of data.
Click any of the column titles to sort your data in either ascending or descending order (up to you!)
You can export this data, raw or filtered, to a spreadsheet, PDF table or graph.
Very occasionally, some platforms may experience an issue with corrupted characters appearing in downloaded csv files when opening them in MS Excel. This is down to how different languages are handled in some area of the learning platform.
To overcome this challenge use Excel to pick:
File -> Options -> Data , and check "Show legacy import wizards: From Text (Legacy)
(this only needs to be enabled once on each installation of Excel):
Once that is enabled, create a new worksheet, and click the 'Data' menu and on the right you will see 'Get Data' -> 'From File' -> From Text/CSV
Use this to pick your downloaded file and then 'import' followed by 'Load' and it will show all characters as expected.
From the Reporting Tools menu you can also access:
